At the World Environment Day, Global Greens highlight their commitment to safeguarding our planet and ending poverty

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5 June as the United Nations’ main way of raising global awareness of the need to take positive action to protect our nature and our planet.

The Global Greens are joining the celebration and supporting the initiatives that are being made on 5 June by Greens all over the world.

As well as being a celebration, World Environment Day 2015 is a reminder of how far we are from living within the ecological and resource limits of the Earth and from ending poverty.
