We’re keeping up the pressure on #TTIP talks as the 12th round of negotiations start this week. The Green family (Global Greens, Greens/EFA MEPs, Federation of Young European Greens and European Greens) protests against the secretive and corporate dominated talks. Don't gamble away our democracy.

New Zealanders don't want the TPP

Despite all the rhetoric of ‘free trade’, historical evidence shows that deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) are designed to advance the interests of multinational companies above all else. The TPP is a multilateral trade agreement being negotiated between New Zealand and eleven other Pacific/Asian countries, including the United States. However, those negotiations are being conducted almost entirely in secret.

Global Greens meet in Bolivia to find Green solutions to global problems

The annual meeting of the Global Greens Coordination (GGC) takes place this week in La Paz, Bolivia, between November 24th and 27th, 2013 and is followed by the Federation of Greens of the Americas (FPVA) congress from November 27th to 29th, 2013. The GGC is the coordinating body of the Global Green movement and comprise more than 80 Green parties worldwide. Specific areas where we will seek to deepen our agreements and intensify our work during these meetings include the following
