 Global Greens Congress 2012

Dakar, Senegal
March 29 - April 1

The Global Greens Coordination is delighted to announce that the next Global Green Congress will be held in Dakar, Senegal, from March 29th to April 1st 2012. The Congress will be hosted by the Fédération Démocratique des Ecologistes du Sénégal (FEDES) in partnership with the African Green Federation and the Global Greens Coordination.

GG2012, 20 years after Greens first gathered at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio, is about actively working together for change. It will be an opportunity to evaluate what’s happened in the 20 years since the Rio Earth Summit, including at the crucial December 2011 climate conference (COP17) in Durban, to launch a Global Green New Deal and to adopt significant steps to improve the functioning of the Global Greens.

We look forward to seeing you in Senegal.
