Global Greens Party Exchange

Is there something you always wanted to know about Greens in another country? Can you share information about Greens campaigns and strategies, or history and organisation? Or do you just want to meet other Greens. Come along to the Greens Party Exchange on the eve of the Global Greens Congress. Everyone's welcome. The program will be informal, there is no charge, tea/coffee will be provided, and you can come for part or all of the afternoon.

Global Greens Party Exchange
1 pm - 5.30 pm, Wednesday 29 March 2017
Jury's Inn, Liverpool

Program
We asked for ideas and you said:

  • we want to present our party and learn about others - history, party structures and organisation, the political space, plans for the future
  • we want to discuss campaigns - strategies and tactics, use of social media, participation by women
  • we want to learn about electoral systems and barriers to participation
  • we want to work out how to stay in touch after the Congress when we come from so many far-flung countries
  • we want to prepare for the Congress
  • and mostly we want to meet each other - speed dating

The afternoon will be flexible and we've divided it into two sections so you can come to one or both.

1.00 pm   Drop in and say hallo
2.00 pm   Introducing the Global Greens
2.15 pm   Open space/speed dating
3.30 pm   Break
4.00 pm   Introducing the Global Greens
4.15 pm   Open space/speed dating
5.30 pm   Finish
6.00 pm   Watch this space - we are looking for a place where everyone can gather for the evening

Practicalities
If you plan to drop in to the Party Exchange, please fill in the webform so we have an idea of how many people to cater for. Jury's Inn is on the Liverpool docks, opposite the ACC where the Congress will be held. You will be able to register for the Congress between 3 and 5 pm on Wednesday afternoon and avoid the crush on Thursday morning.

The Global Greens Party Exchange is hosted by the Australian Greens. We'd love to see you there.
