Greens win a record 14 seats in New Zealand parliament

In a breakthrough election that saw the Greens win 11.06% of the party vote, their highest percentage ever, the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand won 14 seats in New Zealand's 121 seat parliament on November 25.

1. The Green political parties of the world begin immediately to consider the creation, at Canberra, of a Global Green Coordination and a wider Global Green Network.

Among the tasks of the GGN are:

2. To promote the Global Green Charter and to further understanding of it among existing or new member parties, and
