The Earth Rights Institute (ERI) is a Santa Monica-based non-profit organisation promoting an ecologically, socially, economically and culturally sustainable approach to development in Senegal and other African countries. ERI, working in partnership with the Global Greens, has established a tax deductible fund to support sustainability in Africa. Funds raised will be used to promote education and debate on issues including a Global Green New Deal, biodiversity, women, climate change and energy, and democracy. These are all key themes Dakar 2012, the Global Greens meetings in Dakar, Senegal.
